I truly enjoyed the hotel overall. The weather was clear, had great stay. The location offered was marvellous close to nature. The place was located off the main road. Had budget and exceptionally comfortable room with basic appliances, double bed plus a coffee, and protected with smoke detectors. There were a refrigerator, a kettle, and a toaster. All of the staff was amicable and superfriendly...

The service here was outstanding, and while we didn't have a chance to use the pool, it was very well-maintained.

I absolutely loved the charming and cozy decoration of the accommodation. It reminded me of my grandmother's house, with its floral curtains and vintage furniture. The general areas of the holiday park were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself. I appreciated the thoughtfulness of having ramps and handrails in place, making it easier for us to navigate around the park. It truly felt like a home away from home.
The only thing I would ask for to make it an even better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be a bit more attentive and helpful. I understand that they may be busy, but a little more assistance and patience from them would have made our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a cabin, it was perfect for our little family. All the facilities were there, plenty of area for the kids to run around. People were nice and place was clean and tidy. Options to match your budget, from people just pitching tents to decent cabins that had all the comforts of home. The staff and location were top-notch. The proprietor and staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the place was clean. Lovely grounds with a magical atmosphere. We loved sitting at the eel pool and watching the night sky. The bed was extra comfy and the room was well-equipped with basic appliances and utilities. We really felt like we could reconnect with nature here.
Although improvements still need to be made, we recommend this hotel to everyone. The owners and staff are the best, super welcoming and friendly, and genuinely care about their guests.

The head housekeeper at the park was extremely helpful and made our wedding run smoothly. The owners and staff were welcoming and friendly, showing genuine care for their guests. The park itself had great facilities, including a stunning swimming pool and a kids playground. I would recommend this holiday park despite a few minor issues.

We had a memorable stay at this holiday park nestled in the midst of the bush with magic views of the Bay of Islands. This facility is very conscious of its impact on the environment and works with a Trust to protect the area from predators. The location is perfect for exploring the circular walk to the Omata Estate Winery or into the nearby township of Russell along boardwalks and tracks through beautiful bush. The staff were informative and welcoming, and the hotel facilities such as the pool, playground, and exercise area were great. We loved that they managed waste and limited water use, and our glamping tent came with a light and fridge.
Not obvious to find.

Beautiful surroundings and great amenities, the pool is fantastic for a morning swim before heading out to explore the area, the communal kitchen area provides all you need to cook up a great meal.
The bed was uncomfortable and difficult to sleep on, the noise level was high due to the families with young children. if you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable night's sleep, this may not be the best option for you.

I had the most amazing stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely stunning, nestled up by the Bay of Islands. Being surrounded by nature was so refreshing and allowed me to truly unwind. The staff at this place were incredibly accommodating and made me feel right at home. They provided excellent service from check-in to check-out. The facilities here were top-notch, with a swimming pool, outdoor dining area, and a fitness centre. The room amenities were great as well, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including an ironing facility, heating, and a sitting area. I also loved the fact that they were pet-friendly, as I was able to bring my furry friend along. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for its luxurious comfort and quality services.
I highly recommend this hotel to all.
